Stonehouse Puppies

We love our puppies here at Stonehouse!!

Raising a litter takes a lot of work! Even before a litter is born, there is a lot of preparation. Health tests on parents, researching pedigrees, and then the hope it all comes together to produce healthy, happy puppies.

Once the litter has arrived, there are many sleepless nights, a lot of laundry, and a bit of chaos. But looking in the whelping box and seeing fat happy pups and a content mama makes it all worth it.

Stonehouse puppies are raised in the house with us, so they are accustomed to daily household noises and activities. Rain, shine, or even occasional snow, they enjoy spending part of the day outside.

As much as we are able, we follow the Puppy Culture way of raising a litter. This includes early neural stimulation (ENS), socialization, exposure to sounds and smells, car rides, water, and exposure to bird wings, and if able, live pigeons.

Pups are wormed and vaccinated per standard protocol. Puppies have a vet visit at around 7 1/2 weeks, and typically are ready for their new families at about 8 1/2 weeks.

As the breeder, I choose your puppy for you. During this process, I take into consideration what you are looking for in a puppy, your plans for the puppy, and the individual puppy's personalities.

All puppies are sold on AKC Limited registration. We do not ship puppies.
